Fix your loadout

Command An Army Star Limit & Equip Guide

Find why a Command An Army unit will not equip. Check ownership, open slots and your total stars, then use the builder to plan a legal loadout.

Reviewed · Independent fan guide

Check ownership, equipped entries and total stars separately. An empty slot does not guarantee that another troop fits the Star Limit shown in Units.

Community reports describe up to four equipped entries and a combined star cap. Use the limits and costs visible in your current menu.

Two different limits

With an illustrative cap of 6, costs of 3 + 1 + 1 + 1 fit across four entries. Costs of 4 + 2 + 1 exceed it across three. These numbers explain the arithmetic; enter your own menu values in the army builder.

Check an equip decision in order

  1. Read the limit you have now

Open Units. Do not borrow another player’s cap or assume a remembered account level gives a particular number.

  2. Confirm the exact owned entry

Check the troop’s name and current state. Seeing a unit in a tutorial, banner or reference list does not establish ownership.

  3. Check slots and add the full cost

Count equipped entries, then add the stars for the entire proposal. Both checks matter; fewer entries can still make an expensive loadout.

  4. Swap with the missing role in mind

Choose what to replace and recalculate. Consider the job that disappears. Freeing stars may leave you without an option you rely on.

  5. Verify the result before playing

Inspect the equipped display and total. Check an automatic selection’s result too, if that option is available. Do not assume a press registered without visible confirmation.

Common mistakes

  • Checking only an empty slot. Add the complete star total.
  • Replacing a useful entry automatically. Compare the roles before swapping.
  • Using an outdated reference cost. Use the live value and edit the builder input.

Questions before you play

Does a summon automatically equip?

Verify it in the equipped display; appearing in your collection is a separate check.

Why can three entries be too many?

Their combined cost may exceed the star cap even when an entry slot remains.

What level gives each cap?

No reliable level-to-cap table is established here. Recheck Units as your account progresses.

Do four entries mean four soldiers?

An equipped entry is a loadout choice. That limit does not establish battlefield headcount or simultaneous deployment.
